Kyle Lawrence, executive director of the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition, says he loves riding — and hiking — the trails around the Valley in the winter.
Sure, it might be cold, but the views are worth wearing a couple extra layers, he says.
The bicycle coalition, working with the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County tourism agencies, created a map and guide for the Valley to encourage more people to hit the trails.
