2nd annual Townie Together event raises $13k in honor of neighbor with ALS

The Instagram post from the Golden Pony last Monday delivered a blow to Harrisonburg’s music scene. After 11 years of hosting local and nationally known bands, the restaurant and bar will close in June. 

Friendly City Beer Fest returns with focus on community and craft 

Good food, great friends, and even better drinks are in store at the third Friendly City Beer Fest on April 25. Sage Bird Ciderworks and Restless Moons Brewing are collaborating to bring the Valley a selection of unique beverages to celebrate Harrisonburg’s craft producers.
